Description: The Centre for Global Studies (CFGS), in collaboration with the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI), hosted a conference called "The Voice of Global Civil Society". It was held in Waterloo, Canada on October 17-19 2006. The Conference brought together expert "voices" to discuss various options and processes through which global civil society (GCS) might "aggregate" and more effectively give voice to their interests in global policy-making milieu.
