Description:

An IDRC funded project operated in partnership with the interagency Coalition on AIDS and Development (ICAD) focusing on identifying the gaps of present programming in meeting the needs of vulnerable children. Target populations included migrant and Indigenous or ethnic minority children affected by HIV/AIDS. Outcomes include Care and Support Guidelines for South Africa, and South-East Asia that outline practical implications of a rights-based approach, a continuum of care and support and child-centred, culturally sensitive participatory action research.
