The CANADIAN GLOBAL CHANGE PROGRAM is the national focal point for global change activity in Canada. It represents a multidisciplinary network for coordinating research and communicating results, ideas and recommendations to the policy and research communities. Funds and indirect support are provided by Environment Canada's Green Plan, the Richard Ivey Foundation, the Canadian Climate Program, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, the Medical Research Council, the National Research Council, federal departments (including Agriculture Canada, Natural Resources Canada, Environment Canada, and Fisheries and Oceans Canada), non-government organizations, crown corporations, private industry and provincial governments.
