TEACHERS!

Class sets of Global Change and
Canadians
are available free of charge to teachers who
submit written requests containing the following information:
a brief description of how the document will be
used, including

  • what activity or activities will be done;
  • how long the activity will last;
  • how many students will be involved.

The CGCP also requests that teachers fill out and return
a short form to the Program after using the book, which will
help the CGCP monitor its usefulness and make
improvements through future initiatives.

Class sets consist of ten copies of the book. The CGCP will,
on occasion, send 25 copies if the proposed activity(ies)
justifies it. Teachers who do not have a copy of the Teacher's Guide
may wish to order it to help plan their activity.

Global Change and Canadians is a 60 page book that
objectively tackles such topics as ozone depletion,
climate change, sea level change, global economics, energy, and
culture and values. Single copies of the book and the
Teacher's Guide that complements it are available from the CGCP
Secretariat (see address on page 2) for CAN$5.00 each.
