To implement the MAB Program, Canada's National MAB Committee has focused on three working groups:
1) the Biosphere Reserves Working Group whose purpose is to demonstrate that conservation and development can exist in harmony,
2) the Environmental Education Working Group which focuses on the education, public awareness and training of environmental issues, and
3) the Northern Working Group whose recent priority has been in the development of the Traditional Ecological Knowledge program (TEK).

Pour la mise en oeuvre du programme MAB, le comité national du Canada a créé trois groupes de travail :
1) le groupe de travail des réserves de la biosphère, dont le mandat est de démontrer que conservation et développement peuvent coexister harmonieusement;
2) le groupe de travail de l'éducation en matière d'environnement, qui se concentre sur l'éducation, la sensibilisation du public et la formation en ce qui concerne les questions environnementales; et
3) le groupe de travail du Nord, dont la priorité a récemment été l'élaboration du programme du savoir écologique autochtone.
