GAIM - Global Analysis, Interpretation and Modelling(français)GAIM is an IGBP core project whose objective is to advance the development of comprehensive prognostic models of the global biogeochemical system, and to couple such models with those of the physical climate system. GAIM activities are cross cutting, being intimately connected to all other IGBP projects. However, the project has its own identity, through its focus on global interpretation and model building (involving coupling of previously unlinked components), and its close collaborations with complementary activities of the WCRP.

GAIM - Analyse, interprétation et modélisation globalesLe GAIM est un projet principal du PIGB dont l'objectif est de favoriser le développement de modèles détaillés de prévision du système biogéochimique global et de coupler ces modèles avec ceux du système climatique physique. Les activités du GAIM recoupent celles des autres projets du PIGB puisqu'elles sont étroitement liées à ces derniers. Le GAIM possède toutefois sa propre identité grâce à sa spécialisation sur l'interprétation globale et l'élaboration de modèles (comprenant l'association d'éléments préalablement séparés) ainsi que par son étroite collaboration avec des activités complémentaires du PMRC.
